What is Photon Media?

Photon Media is a division of Cold Light Legacy Company and it offers operational support to our collaborative of media properties.

The goal of Photon Media is to support the creation of entertaining content to support education and open discussion among patients, trainees, oncology clinicians, and researchers.

The Accelerators Podcast, Out Of The Basement, and Oncology Unscripted and content on other media properties are independently produced by their creators.

Does Photon Media pay its contributors?

Regular Photon Media contributors (Matt Spraker, Simul Parikh, Jason Beckta, Katie Coleman, Julie Johnson) volunteer their time to create our content.

All funds earned through advertising have thus far have been re-invested into Photon Media efforts.

How does advertising work on Photon Media properties?

We may include advertisements in our content. Advertisements will be clearly marked in podcast episodes by background music. Sponsored content, such as podcast episodes or social media posts, will be clearly labeled.
